Tire inflation should be checked monthly or any time the low tire pressure light is illuminated on the instrument panel (vehicles equipped with tire pressure monitoring systems).

If it comes on and stays on, the engine has low oil pressure. This can cause severe damage; turn the engine off as soon as safely possible, and refer to the owner's manual for more information. If the indicator flashes, there is a momentary loss in oil pressure, which indicates engine oil level may be low. Turn the engine off as soon as safely possible, and check the oil level. Refer to the owner's manual for more information.
Check to see if the parking brake is on. If the brake is not applied; check brake fluid level in brake reservoir and check for fluid leaks. Refer to the owner's manual for more information.
